Traveling Head Punch – 25-75 Ton Capacities

The Traveling Head Punch is an industrial die cutting machine designed for accurate, repetitive cutting of leather, rubber, foam, textiles, industrial fabrics, and other compatible sheet materials. Unlike full beam presses, the traveling cutting head moves across the work area to cut individual shapes or sections of larger patterns. This allows complex cutting operations to be completed with less cutting force than would be required to press the entire pattern at once.

Available in 25 to 75-ton capacities, with higher capacities available through custom configurations, these machines are suitable for medium- to high-volume manufacturing. Standard models accommodate materials up to 72" wide, with custom configurations available for larger rolls. Cutting heads up to 30" x 30" provide flexibility for different die sizes and production requirements.

Manual Traveling Head Press
The Manual Traveling Head Press allows operators to position the material and cutting die, move the cutting head into place, and activate the cutting cycle. This configuration is suitable for custom shapes, smaller production runs, and applications requiring frequent material or die changes. Optional foot-pedal-controlled pinch rollers can assist with material feeding.

Sheet-Feed Traveling Head Press
The Sheet-Feed Traveling Head Press advances individual sheets through the cutting area using programmable settings. Touchscreen controls allow operators to adjust material advancement, cutting head travel, and dwell time. This configuration is particularly useful for foam, corrugated materials, and standardized sheet products.

Pinch Roller Traveling Head Press
The Pinch Roller Traveling Head Press automatically feeds rolled materials through the cutting area while maintaining alignment during repetitive cutting. Programmable feeding and cutting positions support efficient pattern placement and reduced material waste. A rewinder may be required for thinner or more flexible materials.

Conveyor Travelling Head Press
The Conveyor Travelling Head Press provides automated material feeding and cutting for continuous industrial production. Available PLC and CNC controls support complex cutting patterns, material nesting, and digital production files, including DXF formats. Conveyor systems reduce manual handling while improving efficiency for larger production runs.
