Mifare Fingerprint Reader/Controller

Rosslare’s AYC-B7661 is a standalone biometric reader/controller. The AYC-B7661’s sensor verifies between fingerprint data and a biometric template stored in the unit. The AYC-B7661 is convertible; it can work as a reader or as a standalone controller and supports 1:1 or 1:N technologies.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION The MIFARE Classic® EV1 capacitive fingerprint unit is small, elegant, accurate, swift, and cost effective. It provides a high level of security and protects users' privacy. The unit scans biometric data and compares it with a presented fingerprint. Once verified, it sends the card ID to a connected controller (in Reader mode) or directly opens the lock strike (in Controller mode). The unit supports 1:1 (MIFARE Classic® EV1 card reading followed by fingerprint) or 1: n (ID code derived from the fingerprint template) technologies. The unit is compatible with most common Wiegand and Clock & Data formats. It can replace existing readers to save installation and migration costs.
