Hi-Secure Portal, 2-Way Checks, ADA Compliant

When it is imperative that only the right person enters an area of your building, this high security portal can prevent any attempt to gain unauthorised access and can even confirm the identity of the user entering.

The circular portal has two curved sliding doors and opens the outside door upon authorisation of an access control system.

Once the user has entered the portal, a StereoVision 3D analysis system integrated in the ceiling panel will determine that the user is alone in the door. If not, and a second person is trying to gain access, then the door leading to the secured area will remain closed, and the verified user will have to gain access again outside using the access control system again.

An additional option exists where a biometrics identification system inside the portal can match the biometric data of the user to a database to ensure the right person is entering the area. This double-check would be required for highest security measures, and then when the second biometric security system gives a clear signal, the second door open and can the secured area be entered.

Bullet proof glass can be included  (available in different thicknesses) or in the highest security situations a solid panel can replace the clear glass option altogether.

The portal will be fail-safe in the event of a fire alarm or power failure, and a push-to-exit button is standard so an emergency exit is available at all times, where entry into the secured area can remain fail-lock for security.

ADA Compliant Larger Model: The width of an interior 1500 mm, or 59" compartment with a 935 mm or 36.8" door opening assures comfort for handicap access. 

Overall installation diameter is 1577 mm or 62".

Standard Sized Model: The width of an interior 1000 mm, or 39" compartment model with a 584 mm or 23" door opening is available where space requirements demand, or ordered in addition to the larger one in case of side by side installation.

Overall installation diamter is 1077 mm or 42.5".
