Gift Cards with Magnetic Stripe (bottom)

This style of card is Gift Cards with Magnetic Stripe on the bottom of the card.

This orientation is more common than when on top and is often a design preference.

The Magnetic Stripe can be Lo-Co (low corsivity) or Hi-Co (high corsivity) and is typically encoded with numbering. For Gift Cards, we will encode a Hi-Co magnetic stripe with an "ID" or a string of digits that are compatible with your provider or software. 

As we work with hundreds of point of sale software companies, we may already have experience with your provider's requirements. For Gift Cards which process through a specific POS software or credit card terminal, the digits are sometimes very specific to the software or processor being used.

Please provide us with details on how many digits the numbering is, and where we should start the numbering. 

Often your provider will publish information on their website or through their standard support. We will then encode a sample Proof, without printing so you can test it with your system. Once approved by you, we will then email you an art Proof, for your approval, prior to printing your Gift Cards.
