These durable Radio Frequency (RF) locks in high demand for ocean front properties for example.  The circuitry is coated with a proprietary blend of chemicals to form a resistant barrier that blocks the corrosive salt air.  Salt air can penetrate into the smallest unprotected areas.  In addition to the protective barrier, there is an added protective internal cover.  Combined with a dual layer body construction and outer stainless steel layer, this lock can withstand the elements.
